For many people, living in the city is an absolutely necessity. Being close to grocery stores, hair salons, and other retail outlets is important to them, and they’re willing to pay the extra mortgage for that convenience. But there are some other downsides to city living as well. This is particularly true for city dwellers with a vehicle. For one, parking is almost always more limited in the city. This can result in expensive parking bills if you house your car in a parking garage.
And for those who choose street parking, there is the very real risk of incurring some minor (or major) damage to that vehicle. Narrow streets increase your risk of getting dinged by other vehicles, and exposure to the outside can also create all sorts of problems for cars. Drastic weather can chip or otherwise damage cars’ paint jobs, and there is a lot of general wear and tear associated with exposing a car to the outside. There are options, however, to curb this kind of damage. For one, a high quality car cover can protect the exterior of many cars. This makes a great gift for yourself or any car enthusiast you know.

Have you ever driven on a freshly paved or oiled road? Did you get road tar or oil on your vehicle’s fenders? Ever wonder how to easily remove the tar or oil from your vehicle’s paint?
There are two simple ways to remove the tar or oil from your automobile. The first one is to put some WD-40 on a clean soft cloth and gently rub the foreign object off of your vehicle. The second way is to put gasoline on a clean soft cloth and gently rub off the road tar or oil. Before you use either of these two methods, it is highly recommended that you try the WD-40 or gasoline on a section of paint that is not visible before actually using it on the affected area just to make sure that is no adverse effects to your paint.
Once you have removed the foreign material from your paint it is a good idea to put wax on the area you just cleaned.

There are many reasons to use a car cover to protect your vehicle. If you live somewhere that does not provide an enclosed garage, you should have a car cover. If you park your car in an unprotected area at work and your vehicle is parked for more than two hours at a time, you should have a car or van cover. If you have a problem with car theft or vandalism at home or work, you should have a cover for your car.
A car cover will protect your car or truck from the harmful UV rays of the sun, keep your car free of dirt or dust and act as a deterrent to would be thiefs and vandals. Car covers are an inexpensive way to protect your car from all of the above

Are you aware of the warning signs that your car’s shock absorbers need to be replaced?
There are three ways to tell when it is time to replace your shock absorbers. The first way is if your auto’s ride becomes very rough even though your car or truck is not overloaded and the tire pressure is correct. The second way is to look at the shock absorbers to see if there is fluid leaking from the housing. The last way to tell is by your tire wear. If the tires on your car, truck, SUV, van or station wagon show uneven wear, called cupping on the both edges of the tire, your shocks need to be replaced. Do not confuse this with an alignment problem which will only wear on one edge of the tire and will be smooth wear.

Most people hate the car buying experience. They hate the ultimate negotiations that you must go through to get the best price and detest the amount of time that the process takes.
There a couple of things that you can do to insure that you do not overpay for your next new vehicle. They are;
- Research all of the equipment packages and options that you want before hand.
- Go to a website like Kelly Blue Book or Automobile Club of America and find out what the dealer’s cost is on the exact vehicle and options that you want.
- Only buy your new car on the last or next to last day of the month. Dealers are usually trying to make certain sales goals and need to sell a lot of vehicles by the end of the month so they are more desperate to make a deal. Also they may get incentives from the car manufacturer if they sell so many vehicle in a given month.
- Figure out how much profit you are willing to give the dealer for their time and tell them what you are willing to pay for the vehicle.
- Be willing to walk away and go to the next dealer if they do not give the car to you at the price you want to pay.
That is all there is to it. If you follow these simple suggestions you should come away with a more positive buying experience.

Many car owners are greatly attached to their cars. Therefore, it’s not surprising that car covers are such a popular item. No matter where you live, car covers can be a useful car accessory to own. Elements such as rain, snow, humidity, or extreme heat can all contribute to the breakdown of your car itself as well as cosmetic issues such as the paint job. For that reason, it doesn’t matter if you live in the east, west, south, or north. You’re going to experience the weather conditions that can potentially damage your car.
Invest in any number of car covers, and you’re sure to save yourself money in the long run. Do make sure, however, that the car cover fits your car properly. If the car cover proves to be too loose or too tight, it won’t be able to fulfill its function properly. Also, it’s a great shield against pesky ice in the morning. Even if you live in a cold climate, you can skip the time consuming and annoying step of scraping your windshield if your car cover is properly used

Does one of your neighbor’s front yard looks like a trash heap? It seems as if every neighborhood has one home where there are broken kids toys or rusted-out appliances or broken-down vehicles all throughout the yard and possibly a combination of all of these things. Most of these type of people do not respond to you even after you and your neighbors complain to them about it. In fact a lot of times it will get worse after you complain.
Obviously, the largest piece of trash will draw your eye to it which is ususally a rusted old car, truck or van. One thing that you can do is buy a truck cover for that old broken down truck. Take the cover late at night to your neighbor’s yard and cover that truck. Chances are you will no longer have to look at that old truck any longer.

In order to maintain and prolong the life of your car cover, we have provided easy care instructions for you to follow below;
Machine Washing
1. Use a commercial washer.
2. Use a delicate soap such as Woolite.
3. Set washer to “Delicate”.
Machine Drying
1. If possible, we suggest to air dry all covers.
2. If you use a dryer, DO NOT use heat. The cover will shrink.
Hand Washing
1. If hand washing your cover, we suggest you install it on your car
first.
2. Dilute a mild liquid detergent like Woolite, in cold or warm water.
3. Lightly cleanse with sponge.
Air Drying
1. If possible, we suggest to air dry all covers.
Weather Conditions:
High Winds: If you are located in a high wind area be sure to tie down your cover using the grommets provided. Do not rely solely on the elasticized bottom of your cover to provide maximum protection from strong winds.
Freezing Weather: In unusual circumstances, a layer of ice may form between your vehicle and the cover. This layer of ice must be thawed before removing the cover. You may expedite the thawing process by pouring warm water over the cover and gently lifting the cover as the ice begins to melt. If any resistance occurs, repeat the process.
These are recommendations for Budge Vehicle Covers. Check with the manufacturer of your cover before using these instructions.
